Gamificación basada en avatares para el aprendizaje del Derecho Penitenciario

Abstract

Se trata del documento final del proyecto de innovación educativa de la convocatoria 2024/2025 de la Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. La asignatura elegida ha sido Derecho Penitenciario del grado en Criminología (tercer curso, primer cuatrimestre, campus de Alcorcón). Este proyecto, el segundo de un conjunto de tres ediciones, ha consistido en la creación de dos nuevos avatares penitenciarios (personajes prototípicos de la población reclusa), que se añaden a los dos creados en el proyecto anterior. Cada avatar ha sido creado y animado mediante herramientas de inteligencia artificial generativa (ChatGPT, Copilot, HeyGen) y, en concreto, se han utilizado voces de actores reales en sustitución de las voces sintéticas de la primera edición. Junto a cada avatar, se han diseñado cinco acontecimientos o situaciones de la vida en la cárcel, que han dado lugar a una serie de preguntas que el alumnado debía responder en una actividad integrada en el Aula Virtual (Moodle, H5P). Los acontecimientos se repartieron en diversas sesiones de clase durante el último mes del curso, tras las cuales se pasó una encuesta de satisfacción final en la que participaron 65 estudiantes. Los resultados preliminares de este proyecto han sido publicados en dos congresos de innovación docente (Universidad de Zaragoza y UNED), más un capítulo de libro aceptado y actualmente en prensa.
