Este libro es el resultado de una investigación exhaustiva sobre la evolución histórica del teatro a través de sus géneros dramáticos, desde la Antigüedad clásica hasta el teatro posdramático de la segunda mitad del siglo XX. Desde Esquilo hasta Heiner Müller, este libro reúne casi 500 páginas que recogen el relato argumental de las obras más importantes que marcan las claves de la evolución del teatro desde los griegos hasta los autores del siglo XX. (Federico García Lorca, Bertolt Brecht, Heiner Müller, Antonio Buero Vallejo, Alfonso Sastre, Fernando Arrabal, Antonio Gala, Sanchís-Sinisterra; entre otros). 105 Argumentos teatrales con reseñas de sus autores y descripción detallada de personajes, actos, cuadros y escenas. 71 dramaturgos. Una herramienta de consulta imprescindible para estudiantes, profesionales y amantes del teatro.
