Abstract

Esta tesis doctoral tiene dos objetivos. El primero es la estimación de la Matriz de Contabilidad Social de la Comunidad de Madrid con datos del año 2000. Esta matriz se ha construido siguiendo las directrices del SEC95 y describe el ciclo económico completo de la Comunidad de Madrid. La construcción de matrices de contabilidad social ha supuesto un impulso para la metodología input-output, pues los modelos construidos a partir de ella son más completos que los modelos input-output. El segundo objetivo es la elaboración de un modelo de multiplicadores lineales con el fin de detectar los sectores clave de la economía de la región madrileña, pues son los sectores más apropiados para recibir inyecciones de renta por sus altos efectos multiplicadores. Por último, se ha utilizado el modelo de multiplicadores lineales para analizar el impacto de los Fondos Estructurales recibidos por la región sobre los distintos sectores que componen la economía de la Comunidad de Madrid.
