Abstract

Los datos de seguridad de las pruebas de provocación o DPT (de las siglas en inglés Drug Provocation Test) se obtienen de estudios que analizan la frecuencia y el tipo de reacciones, los fármacos más frecuentes implicados y la metodología utilizada. Pocos estudios han intentado cuantificar la probabilidad de un evento adverso después de los DPT utilizando variables robustas disponibles en el primer contacto con el paciente en la consulta externa de alergia. Añadido a todo lo previo, no hay muchos estudios que dispongan de un número amplio de pacientes, para que los intervalos de confianza no sean excesivamente amplios.
