La externalización de la noticia en el periodismo: cómo un puñado de agencias de noticias, empresas y gobiernos monopolizan todo lo que lees, ves y oyes

Abstract

Este trabajo analiza la creciente externalización informativa en los medios españoles, explorando el peso real de agencias de noticias, empresas, gobiernos y otros terceros en la producción de contenido periodístico frente al contenido propio. A través del estudio de miles de noticias, se constata que una de cada cinco proviene de agencias, porcentaje aún mayor en noticias internacionales. EFE, Europa Press y agencias anglosajonas como Reuters, AP o Bloomberg tienen un papel predominante. Además, un 14% del contenido tiene origen empresarial. La investigación revela una preocupante uniformidad informativa, una dependencia estructural de fuentes externas y una pérdida de criterio periodístico. La supuesta diversidad mediática esconde un oligopolio global de emisores, cuya visión del mundo, de corte atlantista y defensor de una economía de mercado, se impone a la sociedad a través de los medios mediante teletipos, comunicados y réplicas, a menudo sin edición en redacción, ni verificación o identificación de las fuentes.
