Los ODS y las Altas Capacidades

Abstract

Este capítulo, contenido dentro del libro RSEdu. Responsabilidad Social Educativa (Martínez Domínguez, L.M; Plaza de la Hoz, P.; Porto Pedrosa, L y Rubia Rivas, M.I.) presenta un proyecto desarrollado en un colegio concertado de la Comunidad de Madrid durante el curso 2021–2022, centrado en alumnos de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria con altas capacidades. El objetivo fue vincular el trabajo académico con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), fomentando la responsabilidad social desde edades tempranas. Puntos clave del capítulo: Contexto del centro: Se trata de una institución religiosa con fuerte vocación social, que atiende a una población estudiantil diversa, incluyendo un alto porcentaje de alumnos con necesidades educativas especiales (ACNEE) y de apoyo educativo (ACNEAE). Necesidades detectadas: Aproximadamente el 25% del alumnado requería atención educativa específica, lo que obligó al profesorado a implementar estrategias diferenciadas para evitar brechas de aprendizaje. Enfoque del proyecto: Se seleccionó a un grupo de alumnos con alto rendimiento académico para trabajar en torno a los ODS, promoviendo su implicación social y su desarrollo como ciudadanos conscientes y comprometidos. Finalidad educativa: El proyecto buscó no solo el desarrollo intelectual, sino también la formación ética y social del alumnado, integrando la solidaridad como virtud clave en la construcción del carácter. Este capítulo ejemplifica cómo la educación sensible y socialmente responsable puede integrarse en contextos reales, fomentando el compromiso ético y la participación activa del alumnado en los desafíos globales.
