Investigation of Magnetic Field in the Subway Station

Abstract

Paper deals with computing of magnetic field in the rails surroundings of subway (underground). The calculation of field is made by using of an analytical method in Excel VBA. There is also used commercial FEM software ANSYS and finite element method. Output results of the both methods are finally compared.
