Storicizzare la precarietà del lavoro tra fordismo e post-fordismo: una prospettiva di genere

Abstract

La parte iniziale di questo contributo tematizza la categoria di precarietà del lavoro, dialogando con la principale storiografia e letteratura economico-sociale di riferimento e riservando particolare attenzione alla persistenza nel lungo periodo del nesso genere-precarietà. La seconda parte del contributo indaga la relazione tra precarietà e fordismo, esaminando la condizione delle lavoratrici dell’industria italiana tra anni Cinquanta e Sessanta inquadrata nel più generale processo di sviluppo economico-industriale del terzo quarto del Novecento. La terza parte prende in esame le caratteristiche precipue del nuovo processo di precarizzazione originatosi a partire dalla crisi degli anni Settanta, con un’attenzione particolare all’impatto dei processi di precarizzazione sviluppatisi nel settore industriale e in particolare nella metalmeccanica. La parte conclusiva dell’intervento intende fornire alcuni spunti di riflessione per una storicizzazione della precarietà del lavoro in chiave di genere, tentando di rintracciare continuità e discontinuità nell’evoluzione del lavoro precario nella seconda metà del Novecento.
