Transferência da formação: o papel moderador da cultura organizacional

Abstract

The present study intends to test the eventual moderator effects that organizational cul-ture may exert in the relation between training transfer and organizational learning. With this goal in mind we collected 292 answers from employees from two organizations with a goal culture and a rules culture respectively (Quinn & Rohrbaugh, 1983). Answers to Learning Transfer System Inventory (LTSI) and the Organizational Learning Capacity Scale (OL), showed that hierarchical culture, compared to market culture, is associated with a lower ca-pacity to learn as well as lower training transfer. It also showed that training transfer predic-tors of OL change according with the culture thus indicating that training transfer dynamics are sensible to organizational culture.
