Abstract

Recently, it has been noted in companies a higher focus on human resources and a higher concern on maintaining a good relationship with employees and keeping them motivated and satisfied with their work, in order to ensure a greater commitment to the organization and a higher level of retention of good employees, who stand as the major factor of differentiation from competitors. In the services sector, human resources acquire a leading role, since they determine in the first instance, the quality of the service and provide customers with a good feeling about that service. The present work aims to present the major theoretical aspects that underpin the construction of companies focused on internal customers, exploring the concepts of services marketing, internal marketing, internal communication and socialization, which serve as a starting point for research. The aim of this project is to construct a welcome manual index for a unity that provides health services and make suggestions for improving the socialization process. To this end, using interviews with the company management it was collected information about this company and about what course of action it intends to follow. Among employees, focus groups were conducted for needs assessment and collection of opinions and suggestions. The results obtained in the focus group were consistent with the intent of the company and the opinions and suggestions collected contributed to the development of the contents of the welcome manual.
