Precariedade no emprego científico

Abstract

Através deste estudo procurou-se compreender o problema da precariedade dos investigadores doutorados, bem como perceber o impacto das políticas de emprego científico no Sistema Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia (SNCT), nas carreiras e nas condições de trabalho e de emprego dos investigadores em Portugal. Através do questionário realizado aos investigadores contratados no âmbito do Programa Ciência (PC), reconstituiu-se o seu percurso profissional após o fim dos contratos; verificou-se a sua situação laboral atual; determinou-se o número de investigadores que permaneceram nas unidades de acolhimento após a finalização dos contratos Ciência e com que tipo de vínculo laboral; e avaliou-se a concretização ou não das suas expectativas profissionais após o fim do PC. Procurou-se, também, perceber de que forma é que as instituições de acolhimento contribuíram para a promoção do emprego científico e renovação dos seus recursos humanos; o que pensam os dirigentes das instituições de acolhimento sobre a Lei 57/2017 de estímulo ao emprego científico; quais os principais obstáculos à integração dos investigadores nas instituições de acolhimento, e finalmente analisaram-se as perceções dos investigadores acerca das estratégias de desenvolvimento das instituições de acolhimento.
