Metodologias e técnicas de gestão de projectos necessárias para implementar o CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration)

Abstract

No presente trabalho procura-se responder à seguinte questão de pesquisa: “Que metodologias e técnicas de gestão de projectos são necessárias para implementar o CMMI?” Ao longo do trabalho são colocadas sub-questões que pretendem complementar a questão de investigação: “De que forma a performance organizacional é afectada pelo uso de metodologias como o CMMI?”; “Em que medida o uso de metodologias e técnicas de gestão de projectos institucionalizadas, poderá facilitar a implementação do CMMI?”; “ISO9001 e CMMI são abordagens complementares?”, estas questões justificam a pesquisa bibliográfica realizada e serviram de orientação para a realização deste trabalho de investigação. De acordo com as questões apresentadas, expõe-se o tema subjacente, através de uma revisão bibliográfica. Após a exposição de um quadro conceptual e indicado os métodos e técnicas de recolha e análise de dados empregues, procede-se à análise de informação, onde se procedeu à exploração e análise dos conceitos abordados na revisão bibliográfica, aplicados ao caso de estudo. Por fim são apresentadas as conclusões do estudo, evidenciando os pontos-chave da temática explorada, e as respostas a dar às questões colocadas inicialmente.

The aim of the present work is to answer to the research question: “Which Project Management methodologies and techniques are required to implement the CMMI?” Throughout the work are placed sub-questions that are intended to complement the research question: "How organizational performance is affected by the use of methodologies such as CMMI?"; "To what extent the use of institutionalized Project Management methodologies and techniques, can facilitate the implementation of CMMI?"; "ISO9001 and CMMI are complementary approaches?", these issues justify the literature search was undertaken and the guidance for carrying out this research work. To answer to the aforementioned question, a review of the most relevant literature is made. After have defined a conceptual framework and indicated the methods and techniques for collecting and analyzing data, the analysis of information are exposed, which the themes covered by the literature review are put in perspective and applied to the case study. Finally, the conclusions and the implementation forms are stated, covering the most important points of analyzed.
