Política educacional e pós-colonialismo: o sistema educacional angolano no período pós-independência

Abstract

A influência portuguesa em território angolano produziu um sistema educacional baseado na dependência e nos valores europeus. Por conta disto, Angola se tornou uma exportadora de mão-de-obra e matérias-primas para os países industrializados europeus. Contudo, a partir da década de 50 do século XX, no período do pós-guerra, uma nova educação vai promover o surgimento e desenvolvimento de novas formas de organização civil por parte do povo angolano, que assumirá as rédeas de seu processo histórico iniciando um movimento de mobilização e mudança da sociedade local a partir dos anos de 1974 e 1975. Assim, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo principal explicitar sistema educacional angolano, em especial a educação superior, no período de pós independência.
