Abstract

Changes in the international corporate landscape, the digital transformation and the emergence of megatrend pressures have reinforced the vision that people are a strategic asset at the core element of this transformation. This paradigm shift from a process focus to a user experience focus crosses organizations transversally and extends into HRM, especially, into recruitment and selection. XPT Group is in the middle of this transition to a digital utility but the recruitment processes are still those that were designed within the previous paradigm, with a process focus. This project is set to analyze the recruitment experience in XPT Group departing from a mixed methods approach that comprehended participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documental analysis. Based on the critical analysis, proposals are made for immediate improvement, which focus on the current process, as well as long-term recommendations, which focus on the future recruitment and selection experience of the XTP Group with a focus on user experience.
