Abstract

A transição de ciclos, do 1.º para o 2.º ciclo, é uma das fases mais complicadas para os alunos que comporta mudanças diversas, como a alteração do espaço físico, a constante mudança de salas, o horário, vários professores para as disciplinas em vez de apenas um, entre outras mudanças, verificando-se uma redução nos resultados escolares. Numa Escola que enfrenta todos os dias desafios diários e constantes, onde as mudanças nas políticas educativas, exigem uma escola de qualidade que dê resposta a uma sociedade em permanente mudança, faz do papel de Diretor, dos mais relevantes e importantes de um Agrupamento. Neste Projeto, pretendeu-se criar um Guião orientador para a elaboração de um Projeto de Promoção do Sucesso Escolar, num agrupamento de escolas de Sintra, a aplicar aos alunos do 5.º ano de escolaridade, dado que é nesse ano que se verifica um decréscimo nos resultados escolares que podem condicionar as pretensões futuras destes alunos, a quem a escola deve conseguir dar resposta através de Programas de Promoção do Sucesso escolar. Trata-se de um guião pensado para este agrupamento, que será apresentado à Direção do mesmo para colocação em prática e posterior estudo dos resultados, e que não tem a pretensão de generalização pois cada realidade escolar é única e distinta.

The transition from 1st to 2nd cycle is one of the most complicated stages for students and involves several changes, such as changes in the physical space, constantly changing classrooms, the schedule, different teachers for the subjects instead of just one, among other changes, with a decrease in school results. In a school that faces daily and constant challenges every day. Where changes in educational policies require a quality school that responds to a constantly changing society, the role of Director is one of the most relevant and important of a school. In this project, it was intended to create guidelines for the creation of a Project of Promotion of the School Success, in a school in Sintra, to be applied to the students of the 5th grade, since in this grade there is a decrease in school outcomes that may constrain the future aspirations of these students, whom the school should be able to respond to through School Success Promotion Programs. This is a script designed for this school, which will be presented to the Board for its implementation and subsequent study of the results, and which does not claim to be generalized because each school reality is different from the others.
