Gestão de riscos como catalisador de decisões

Abstract

Project management has been increasingly used as a control method, as well as a methodology that potentiates the results of a project. Its areas of knowledge and processes guide the Project Manager to make assertive decisions aimed at improving the final results regarding the fundamental pillars: scope, time and cost. Among the areas of knowledge under study, Risk Management in Projects has become increasingly focus of studies and proving to be increasingly fundamental in the management of projects as well as in the decision-making of the managers, anticipating the threats and opportunities that impacts on the project results. This paper aims to relate and prove the positive relationship between project risk management and decision-making of managers, and to carry out a case study to verify if, once a risk management methodology is established in a company, this methodology assists on important decisions making them become more assertive and positively influencing the final results of the enterprise.
