Whether it be for pedagogic reasons or for the requisites involved in the competitiveness between teaching establishments, it is fundamental to stimulate the various participants, teachers and non teachers, to carry out their functions with greater rigour, competence, involvement and integration in the educative project of the school. One fundamental factor to attain these objectives is to evaluate the performance of the professionals, which will enable them to gain professional perfection and a better adjustment to follow the directives of those responsible for the running of the school. Bom Sucesso School, because of the principles and values it follows, its Catholic basis and its Irish roots, needs to use a performance evaluation system adapted to, on the one hand, the above mentioned objectives, and on the other, its own identity. The present project provides an answer which will enable to perfect the system of evaluation that is being adopted and will contribute to deepen the involvement of the professionals in their own training, and in the continuous achievement of the strategic objectives of the School.

Quer por razões pedagógicas quer por necessidades decorrentes da competitividade entre estabelecimentos de ensino é fundamental estimular os diversos atores, docentes e não docentes, para que desempenhem as suas funções com o maior rigor, competência, envolvimento e integração no projeto educativo da escola. Um fator primordial para atingir esses objetivos é a avaliação de desempenho dos profissionais, a qual permite aos mesmos um aperfeiçoamento profissional e um melhor ajustamento às diretivas dos responsáveis pela gestão escolar. O Colégio do Bom Sucesso, pelos princípios e valores a que obedece, pela sua matriz católica e pela sua raiz irlandesa, necessita de utilizar um sistema de avaliação de desempenho ajustado, por um lado aos objetivos acima enunciados, por outro à sua identidade própria. O presente projeto constitui uma resposta que permitirá aperfeiçoar o sistema de avaliação que já vem sendo adotado e que contribuirá para aprofundar o envolvimento dos profissionais na sua própria formação, bem como na prossecução dos objetivos estratégicos do Colégio.
