Abstract

This Project aims to be a first essay of “#CaminhosAfricanos”, a circuit and exhibition that emphasizes the presence of sub-Saharan african slaves in Lisbon between the fifteenth century and the eighteenth century. It’s possible to narrate the presence of this men and woman in Lisbon today through the places where they passed by and in the way they experienced it. More than just to refresh this memory we intend that the portuguese society acknowledge this group’s heritage to the history of the city. In this work we have the intent of developing the idea and it’s theoretical principles. Contextualize the Project so that we can understand it’s background and to come up with some proposals about how to execute it, it’s form and content. The development stage is the one that gives purpose to the Project and points out it’s relevance in order to analyse how to proceed in a future moment to place the public on the africans paths.
