Abstract

Num mundo globalizado, como é aquele em que vivemos hoje, as tendências, modas, hábitos de consumo e estilos de vida rapidamente se espalham e chegam a muitos cantos do mundo. Neste momento uma das tendência em maior crescimento a nível mundial na indústria alimentar é o setor de street food. É sobre esse setor que vai incidir o presente caso de estudo, por ser um setor emergente, com cada vez mais adeptos e que se está a tornar uma tendência em Portugal, tal como já o é, no mundo inteiro. A empresa a ser estudada dentro deste setor é a “Comida de Rua” que já conta com 3 anos de atuação no mercado. O que se pretende aferir neste estudo é se a estratégia previamente definida pela marca está em consonância com o posicionamento percebido pelos clientes. Para a resolução deste caso será feita uma análise estratégica aprofundada, avaliando a empresa a nível externo, interno e transversal de modo a ter todos dados necessários para a realização da formulação estratégica.

In a globalized world, as is the one we live in, trends, fashions, consumer habits and lifestyles rapidly spread and reach many corners of the world. Right now one of the fastest growing trend in the global food industry is the street food sector. It is on this sector that will focus the present case study, being an emerging sector with more fans and that is becoming a trend in Portugal, as it already is, worldwide. The company being studied within this sector is called "Comida de Rua" which already has three years of experience in the market. The aim in this study is to assess the strategy previously defined by the brand is in line with the positioning perceived by customers. For the resolution of this case an in-depth strategic analysis will be done by assessing the company to external, internal and cross-level in order to have all data necessary to carry out the strategy formulation
