Abstract

The aim of this Bachelor’s thesis was to create listening games that use Estonian language resources and are suitable for listening practice. Two games for listening to words and sentences were made. The words were taken from the Institute of the Estonian Language Teacher Tools and the sentences from Estonian Wordnet. The work was completed as a website that uses the Neurokõne API for pronouncing words and sentences. The first half of the thesis gives an overview of language resources and language games with examples. The second half describes the result of the data processing and the final game program. Finally, the feedback received and the possibilities for further development are analysed.
