El Sistema Nacional de Investigadores en México: percepciones de académicos y académica sobre la política pública

Abstract

El proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo el analizar las percepciones de académicas y académicos acerca de la política pública de evaluación e incentivo económico del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI) y su relación con el trabajo académico desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar. Se empleó una metodología mixta donde el paradigma cuantitativo hace descripción del contexto y, por otro lado, desde el paradigma cualitativo, basado en el estudio de caso y el interaccionismo simbólico, se llevó a cabo un muestreo intencional que permitió la comprensión y el análisis de las percepciones de académicos de diferentes divisiones de la Universidad de Sonora (México). Se encontró que los profesores refieren una gran cantidad de actividades relacionadas con la docencia, siendo la más evidente la impartición de clases, lo cual implica un trabajo de preparación y planeación que va más allá de las horas que está frente a grupo y que implica una inversión de tiempo que, a menudo, complica el desempeño de otras actividades.
