In this paper we raise the problem of admisibility emphasizing some of the most outstanding theoretical results on admisibility when the loss function is quadratic, according to Katz's results on truncated spaces under quadratic loss. Next we foms our attention in two specific types of estimators: Equivariants and Pitman, to end up discussing their admisibility.
