The wall of Segobriga, with two monumental doors and several secondary entrances, was built circa 15 B.C. at the same time that the town received the condition of Latin municipium; it was modified in the Flavian times to place the roman theatre in their external side. The date of 15 B.C. can put on in connection with the third Augustus journey to Hispania and the appointment like patronus of Segobriga to the emperor's personal secretary.
