Abstract

Son muchos los factores conocidos hoy en día que pueden mejorar el rendimiento de un deportista. Sin embargo, la gran mayoría de estudios que se han realizado tienen un enfoque más fisiológico. Recientemente, se ha aceptado el papel de la carga mental en el aprendizaje y la preparación de los deportistas para facilitar la mejora en la toma de decisiones en situaciones de juego. Este trabajo consiste en analizar cuál es la carga mental experimentada por los jugadores de los deportes colectivos, concretamente el baloncesto, cuando realizan las tareas de entrenamiento a las que están acostumbrados. Mediante un cuestionario realizado sobre diferentes ejercicios de entrenamiento, se observa cómo aumenta el nivel de esta carga con la dificultad de la tarea. También se comprueba cómo la percepción del rendimiento obtenido y el nivel de frustración experimentado por los jugadores aumenta a medida que lo hace la carga mental. Con todo ello, se proponen modificaciones de los ejercicios de entrenamiento realizados para adaptarlos a las demandas mentales de los jugadores y, por consiguiente, conseguir favorecer el aprendizaje.
