Traducción e interpretación en las Organizaciones No Gubernamentales

Abstract

La traducción y la interpretación se han convertido en una parte importante del mundo actual. El desarrollo industrial, comercial, tecnológico, los movimientos demográficos han propiciado la necesidad comunicativa entre las personas que no comparten la misma lengua ni cultura. Las ONG son actores que juegan un papel importante ya que permiten a estas personas desenvolverse en un país extranjero y ayudar al prójimo. Estas organizaciones suelen contar con la ayuda de traductores e intérpretes profesionales, así como con la colaboración voluntaria. Sin embargo, se han observado ciertos problemas a los que no es fácil poner solución a corto plazo. En este trabajo trataremos los problemas principales que presenta el trabajo voluntario en una ONG y destacaremos los puntos positivos del mismo. De igual modo, trataremos de definir el concepto de la traducción especializada y analizaremos el texto que ha sido objeto de las prácticas de empresa.
