Abstract

Este proyecto propone el desarrollo e implementación de metodologías docentes de base tecnológica en el contexto docente de las asignaturas de Urbanismo, para, por una parte, incentivar la implicación del alumnado en la construcción de un conocimiento colaborativo, a la vez que pormenorizado, de un ámbito urbano determinado y, por otra parte, fomentar la utilización de herramientas y fuentes de información novedosas que faciliten la exhaustiva labor de toma de datos en estudios de campo. Concretamente, en esta investigación se implementa un proceso metodológico de recogida, vaciado, geolocalización y visualización de datos procedentes de la observación in situ de actividades y usos de la edificación mediante la generación de mapas colaborativos online utilizando MyMaps, Google Earth y Carto. La construcción de una colección de datos común entre alumnos de distintos grupos y asignaturas ha supuesto una importante labor de coordinación y seguimiento; sin embargo, se ha constatado la pertinencia de utilizar herramientas de mapeo colaborativo online para la creación de una colección de datos geolocalizados, tan específica y compleja como se requiera, para abordar las distintas temáticas y contenidos docentes de las asignaturas de Urbanismo.
