Abstract

En este trabajo planteamos el uso Google Classroom para la enseñanza de la asignatura Comunicación y medios escritos, de primer curso del Grado de Publicidad y RR.PP. de la Universidad de Alicante. Durante el curso 2016-2017 se ha iniciado la implantación de Google Classroom en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de WordPress para el ciberperiódico Comunic@ndo. Este ciberperiódico es una herramienta de innovación docente que se utiliza desde 2010 en las prácticas de la asignatura. La elección de esta plataforma se debe a la necesidad de reforzar el aprendizaje del uso de WordPress para la redacción de noticias, reportajes y entrevistas que son publicadas en el ciberperiódico. Así, se amplían las opciones de las prácticas, gracias a las sesiones de Google Classroom, que permite hacer un seguimiento personalizado del trabajo de cada alumno, ayuda a organizar los contenidos y facilita la corrección de las prácticas, con un feed-back continuo. El profesorado puede enviar notificaciones, crear tareas, ver quién ha completado el trabajo, comentar y puntuar en tiempo real. En una segunda fase, se implementará el script Doctopus, para administrar permisos y tareas sobre un Excel con la lista de alumnos, así como la extensión de Chrome, Goobric, que permite la evaluación mediante rúbricas.
