El campus de la Universidad de Alicante como recurso didáctico

Abstract

La calidad de la enseñanza-aprendizaje está intrínsecamente relacionada con la calidad de la Arquitectura y el espacio urbano dónde se realiza dicho proceso. Por ello es interesante y objetivo principal de esta comunicación, dedicar una atención especial al “espacio físico” universitario, concretamente al campus de la Universidad de Alicante, con la intención de aprovecharlo para mejorar el proceso de aprendizaje del alumno y por tanto considerarlo como recurso didáctico fundamental. La percepción e interacción de sensaciones que siente el alumno en el aula, nunca pueden compararse con las provocadas por la experimentación “in situ” y por ello tanto la Arquitectura y Urbanización, como las diversas Instalaciones del campus, nos ofrecen enormes posibilidades de experimentación y en ellas se pueden plantear diversas actividades, sobre todo para varias asignaturas del Grado en Arquitectura Técnica, que permitan una mayor compresión de los conocimientos teóricos. En este trabajo, mostraremos las posibilidades del campus como recurso didáctico y cómo el contacto cotidiano de los alumnos con su entorno, permite adquirir conocimientos de forma más amena y mejorar los resultados en el proceso de aprendizaje; concluyéndose que el campus de la Universidad de Alicante cumple con gran parte de los principios establecidos para considerarse “Campus didáctico”.
