Spatial Thinking. Enseñanza-aprendizaje de una competencia transversal para usuarios “no TIG”

Abstract

Los cambios que se están produciendo en los procesos educativos y en la caracterización del conocimiento del siglo XXI hacen necesario un enfoque didáctico mucho más intuitivo, que estimule la creatividad, la innovación y el pensamiento divergente en la enseñanza obligatoria. Además nos encontramos en un escenario de oportunidades donde las tecnologías de la información y el espacio convergen cada vez más facilitándonos resolver problemas de manera espacial. La comunicación expone una experiencia didáctica llevada a cabo con alumnos de secundaria, que propone una metodología de aprendizaje de spatial thinking como competencia transversal y que sirva de aproximación al empleo de las TIG. Los alumnos aprendieron las bases y el potencial del pensamiento visual espacial realizando diferentes actividades y se iniciaron en el uso de las TIG on line. Contribuyó además a la toma de consciencia por parte de los alumnos sobre la importancia del factor espacial en la comprensión y análisis de sus actividades y de su entorno.
