Anagoge: poética neobarroca de Lezama Lima

Abstract

José Lezama Lima representa una de las verdaderas y grandes culminaciones estéticas de la búsqueda de la identidad americana. Si la poesía hispanoamericana había surgido entroncada a la tradición española, durante finales del siglo XIX y todo el XX se gestará el proceso que concluirá con “la expresión americana” (Mataix: 2000). Esta expresión constituirá (aunque en muchas ocasiones pueda usarse sin demasiada reflexión crítica) la panacea estética de la cultura hispanoamericana. Si durante varias generaciones América Latina había estado buscando la idiosincrasia y las señas de identidad que la introdujeran dentro de Occidente con total autonomía, el pensamiento intelectual americano encontrará realmente un valor en esta expresión, donde poder gestar las creaciones del hombre hispanoamericano. Tenemos pues no un artificio crítico, sino la conformación de un devenir coherente y riguroso de la estética hispanoamericana desde su propia interpretación interna, ya que los patrones de evolución son explicados por los propios americanos. Nos estamos refiriendo evidentemente a lo que, tras la acuñación de Alejo Carpentier, se ha ido definiendo como" Realismo Mágico, sensibilidad estética en donde la categoría de "lo Mágico" constituye algo más que un movimiento de fuga artística, de concreción del artificio, esto es: el vislumbrar no sólo de una actitud ante la vida, sino también la vida misma americana.
