Abstract

El trabajo forma parte del capítulo teórico inicial dedicado a una revisión del sentido de la traducción en pleno siglo XXI desde las más diversas disciplinas: lingüísticas (lenguas históricamente emparentadas con el español) y discursivas (artes y literaturas). Su aporte se mide en actualizar el concepto de traducción a finales de siglo XX frente al de la tradición, a partir de los efectos de las grandes escuelas de pensamiento que lo han transformado para hacerlo más flexible desde la hermenéutica (y luego deconstrucción, feminismo, teoría de los polisistemas, poscolonialismo…), además de suscitar una concepción intersemiótica de este mecanismo traductor —entre discursos artísticos— vigente con el comparatismo. El resultado permite pensar la traducción en su marco histórico actual y reformular viejas concepciones ya caducas en favor de otras mucho más proteicas, muy presentes en toda clase de discursos de nuestra sociedad (literatura, publicidad, cine, jazz, etc.). El trabajo permite concebir la traducción como un hecho interpretativo por parte del traductor, y por tanto agente intelectual activo que conforma innúmeras variantes cuando se trata de literatura.
