El presente trabajo aborda diferentes casos relativos a la tesis del castigo divino como forma explicativa de la catástrofe en los textos impresos, las formas de alentar a la culpa mediante las rogativas de penitencia y las misiones, así como la lucha de poder surgida por el control de dichos actos religiosos.
The present work deals with the different facts relative to the divine punishment thesis as an explicative form of the catastrophe in printed texts, the ways to encourage punishment by means of penitence rogations and missions, as well as, class struggles arisen because of the regulation of religious actions.
