Modelos neuronales para pronóstico de series temporales

Abstract

Este trabajo de fin de máster se centra en una revisión detallada de diversos modelos neuronales, con especial atención a las arquitecturas basadas en transformers aplicadas al pronóstico de series temporales (forecasting). Aunque estos modelos han demostrado su eficacia en campos como el procesamiento de lenguaje natural y la visión artificial, su rendimiento en la predicción de series temporales tiende a ser menos destacado. Dentro del marco de este proyecto, se pretende profundizar en el estado de la cuestión investigando detenidamente las estrategias de preprocesamiento y las diversas arquitecturas propuestas, tanto desde el punto de vista de la eficiencia computacional como en términos de modelización temporal. Por último, y con los conocimientos adquiridos en esta revisión del estado de la cuestión, se diseñará y evaluará una arquitectura neuronal personalizada con el objetivo de pronosticar una serie temporal seleccionada de uno de los benchmarks más frecuentemente utilizados en la disciplina para la evaluación y comparación de modelos neuronales.
