Mentiras para no dormir

Abstract

Contraportada: La mentira es una constante universal, pero durante el franquismo tuvo un protagonismo peculiar y destacado gracias a la omnipresente propaganda, la falta de transparencia y el silencio cómplice u obligatorio. El volumen recopila varias historias cuyo denominador común es la mentira, con sus múltiples variantes y su capacidad de construir hechos alternativos para el beneficio, el disimulo, la gloria... de quienes divulgaron embustes sin renunciar al arte de los fabuladores. Desenmascarados mediante dosis de investigación y humor, sus mentiras ayudan a comprender la mentalidad del franquismo más allá de las historias y los personajes habitualmente estudiados.
