Las isotopías semánticas en la prensa francesa: el caso del terrorismo islamista

Abstract

Los atentados islamistas que han tenido lugar desde 2011 hasta la actualidad han provocado un fuerte impacto, no solo en la prensa francófona, sino en la prensa mundial en general. Los medios de comunicación proporcionan informaciones que están finalmente condicionadas por la opinión subjetiva del periodista, que proporciona la noticia en función de la terminología empleada y de su punto de vista. A partir de un corpus extraído de periódicos franceses digitales, como Le Monde y Le Figaro, nos proponemos identificar las isotopías semánticas del terrorismo islamista, clasificar su terminología para comparar su uso en distintos periódicos digitales de la prensa francesa, así como destacar su idiosincrasia terminológica. Nos basaremos en un corpus teórico que incluye autores de gran importancia en el ámbito de especialidad, como Bréal, Pottier, Rastier, Charaudeau o Kripke, entre otros. Hemos escogido esta rama porque es un tema que está de actualidad y puede tratarse desde un punto de vista semántico-pragmático.
