Abstract

La simulación clínica es actualmente un método de aprendizaje en auge, permite una formación activa del alumno, por lo que cada vez es más empleado, sobre todo, cuando surgen situaciones nuevas o técnicas novedosas. En la actualidad, con la pandemia por COVID 19, se nos ha planteado esta situación de desconocimiento en la asistencia y ventilación de un paciente, con seguridad para el sanitario, precisando EPIS que pueden afectar el manejo del paciente. Una situación nueva que conlleva una formación nueva, con técnicas y situaciones a las que tampoco están habituados los docentes. El gran reto de la simulación es conseguir recrear el caso y el ambiente para que ese aprendizaje se produzca. Con la finalidad de valorar la calidad de la enseñanza en simulación ante situaciones nuevas, se realizó este estudio. Tras una práctica de simulación con casos elaborados para este fin, los alumnos del año lectivo 20-21 del máster de Emergencias y Catástrofes de la universidad de Alicante, rellenaron la Encuesta de Calidad y satisfacción de simulación clínica realizada por Ángela Astudillo Araya. Los resultados obtenidos revelan que una simulación elaborada permite reforzar el aprendizaje, independientemente de la profesión e incluso de la experiencia laboral en el tema.
