Rendimiento académico en asignaturas relacionadas con la física en el doble grado de ADE con Ingeniería Informática de la Universitat Politècnica de València

Abstract

La oferta de dobles grados en nuestras universidades ha crecido de manera incesante y, muchos de ellos, incluyen el grado de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ADE), por su alta empleabilidad. Sin embargo, cuando se combinan con titulaciones de carácter tecnológico, como la Ingeniería Informática (GII), suponen una dificultad añadida. El objetivo principal de este estudio es responder a la siguiente pregunta de investigación: ¿existen diferencias de rendimiento académico en asignaturas relacionadas con la física, dependiendo del bachillerato cursado por los/as estudiantes del doble grado ADE-GII de la UPV? Para ello, se analiza el rendimiento en las asignaturas Fundamentos Físicos de la Informática (FFI), de primer cuatrimestre, y Tecnología de Computadores (TCO), de tercer cuatrimestre. Como caso de estudio se utiliza la cohorte que ingresa en el 2019-20 y que cursa ambas asignaturas en años consecutivos. Se ha realizado un estudio estadístico descriptivo y se ha observado que el desempeño en FFI es bastante menor, sobre todo entre los de Humanidades. Tras unas estrategias en TCO para aumentar el soporte cognitivo a los estudiantes, el desempeño mejora en ambos perfiles, aunque siguen encontrándose diferencias de rendimiento a favor de los de Ciencias.
