The objective of this activity has focused on developing civic skills that help students to recognize and discriminate false or toxic information. To do this, a viewing activity for the documentary Post Truth Times has been launched and in which the students have expressed, through a debate in the classroom, their perceptions, opinions, and thoughts on this phenomenon. This interuniversity experience has been implemented in the subjects of Social Structure and Education corresponding to the Degree in Early Childhood Education and the Degree in Primary Education of the University of Valencia and Introduction to Political Science of the Degree in Labour Relations and Human Resources of the University from Alicante. Regarding the data collection of this comparative study, an initial questionnaire and a final questionnaire have been proposed to record the evolution and assessment of the students. Among the main results, the participants of both groups have had a proactive behaviour and the debate has encouraged them to contrast and critically question the information they receive through online formats. One of the conclusions of this study is that the majority of the students are favourable to the use of audio-visual content in class for the assimilation of theoretical content in the classroom.
