Las dificultades de aprendizaje en el contexto educativo

Abstract

La intervención en las dificultades de aprendizaje con relación al currículum suele ser habitual. Pero raramente se contemplan otras variables. Generalmente, no se sabe dar respuesta más allá de lo cognitivo. La escuela no es más que el espejo en el que se reflejan y revierten las virtudes y defectos de nuestra sociedad. La sociedad, en general, y los padres especialmente demandan a la escuela que “arregle” lo que se ve, se le pide soluciones para solventar los problemas que viven muchos alumnos en la escuela de hoy. La aproximación al conocimiento de la realidad actual debe realizarse desde muy diferentes ángulos y perspectivas si no queremos percibirla deforme, requiere, además, de la voluntad positiva de conocer, con una mirada crítica, a las aulas de hoy y todo aquello que las envuelve. La educación en España ha conocido cambios importantes: ampliación de la edad de escolaridad, el aumento de servicios educativos, la dotación de recursos en los centros... sin embargo, se han producido otros cambios que no logran alcanzar la mejora que el conjunto de la sociedad y la escuela misma desea.
