Estatutos y funcionamiento del Fondo Monetario Internacional

Abstract

El Fondo Monetario Internacional ha ido evolucionando desde su creación en 1944 adaptándose a los continuos cambios que ha sufrido la economía mundial y a las necesidades de sus países miembros. En este documento TFG nos centraremos en analizar el funcionamiento y la actuación de una de las instituciones más importantes del mundo como es el FMI. Vivimos en un mundo globalizado, donde los países han creado vínculos tan fuertes que los problemas de unos rápidamente se extienden a otros, es por ello por lo que el Fondo focaliza su trabajo en la cooperación mundial reforzada. El FMI ha ido evolucionado a partir de sus actuaciones en las distintas crisis, ya que les ha hecho reflexionar sobre los aspectos a reforzar y reformar. Veremos cómo han gestionado las crisis más importantes y también como esperan afrontar este nuevo desafío que supone la COVID-19.
