Turismo rural en España

Abstract

El turismo rural en España ha aumentado en las últimas décadas, aunque de forma tardía respecto al resto de países europeos. Este crecimiento se encuentra motivado por la continua evolución de la sociedad y el cambio en sus gustos y preferencias, lo cual ha favorecido la economía del sector rural, así como el entorno natural. Asimismo, el turismo rural se está posicionado como una auténtica alternativa al turismo de sol y playa, con la que el turista rural busca alejarse de las zonas masificadas, encontrar tranquilidad y acceder a la vida rural. Todo ello, se ha visto acentuado por la actual pandemia, favoreciendo el desarrollo de las diversas modalidades de turismo rural. La investigación realizada a continuación se ha desarrollado en diversas etapas. En primer lugar, se ha llevado a cabo la contextualización del turismo rural, en la cual se ha estudiado la evolución del turismo rural europeo, español y por CCAA. Además, en esta etapa, se ha estudiado el concepto de turismo rural, sus modalidades más importantes como el agroturismo, enoturismo, ecoturismo, así como el perfil del turista rural. Seguidamente, se ha expuesto la revisión de la literatura, acercando conceptos de marketing como la satisfacción, lealtad, actuaciones de fidelización por parte de las empresas, la sostenibilidad y la importancia del marketing online al objeto de nuestro estudio, el turismo rural. Y, finalmente, se ha realizado una investigación cuantitativa y cualitativa, y se han analizado los datos obtenidos, obteniendo diversas conclusiones.
