Internacionalización de cooperativa productora de aceite de oliva virgen

Abstract

El trabajo realizado se basa en el estudio de las posibilidades de internacionalización de una cooperativa española productora de aceite de oliva virgen sin presencia previa en ningún mercado extranjero. En función a la capacidad productiva y características del producto, la cooperativa elegida es la S.C. San Isidro Labrador conocida por la alta calidad de su producto y la Denominación de Origen ‘Sierra Mágina’ que asegura un óptimo posicionamiento. Se ha procedido con una investigación general del mercado, además de un análisis pormenorizado en función de dos países con alto atractivo para dicho negocio con el objetivo de estudiar correctamente la decisión. Para facilitar la entrada en el nuevo mercado que sería Estados Unidos, el proyecto se realizaría por medio de una joinventure contando con un socio distribuidor en el país de destino, focalizando inicialmente las ventas en zonas de mayor repercusión comercial del país. Para la estimación correcta de la decisión de llevar a cabo o no el proyecto, se ha procedido a aplicar el criterio del Valor Actual Neto junto con la Tasa Interna de Retorno mediante la actualización de los flujos de caja. Finalmente, a la conclusión que se llega, es de que el proyecto en sí es una opción con futuro pero se pone en duda su ejecución a través de la Cooperativa elegida debido a los resultados obtenidos aplicante los criterios de evaluación elegidos.
