Abstract

Legemidler med samme virkestoff kan markedsføres av flere produsenter under mange ulike navn. Dette kan skape forvirring blant brukere og medføre feilbruk og dobbeltbruk. Standardisert design hvor virkestoffnavnet har en fast og fremtredende plass på legemiddelpakninger har ført til at pakninger som inneholdt samme virkestoff var lettere å gjenkjenne sammenlignet med pakninger med originalmerking.
