Betydningen av å delta i simulering med åpne situasjoner for oppøving i intensivsykepleie

Abstract

Simulering i åpne situasjoner gir tilgang til en virkelighetsnær praksis som i studien kommer til uttrykk som en alvorlig lek. Den alvorlige leken tar dem med på jobb, til pasienten i praksis. Simuleringssituasjonen påkaller til å gi svar på situasjonen ved å både forstå og handle raskt. De får kjenne på egen opplevelse av situasjonen og egen tilnærming. Simuleringen gir studentene mulighet for både å mestre og feile, de tillates å stå i opplevelser av både flyt og rystelser. Rystelsene skaper motivasjon og dermed en unik mulighet for vekst. Gjennom denne erfaringen stiller de seg åpen for å utvikle ny og bedre kunnskap. Gjentaket i den alvorlige leken gir rom for utprøving og oppøving av praktisk kunnskap som fester seg i kroppen. Simuleringen i de åpne situasjonene der den alvorlige leken trer fram skaper mulighet for danning i intensivsykepleie.
