Geografisk rettferdighet for norske kommuner. Sosial ulikhet i det norske fellesskapet

Abstract

Temaet til boken er det norske fellesskapet og hvorvidt det er robust eller resilient. I introduksjonen skriver Aakvaag og Bæck at robusthet kan defineres som evnen til å overleve og hente seg inn igjen etter utfordringer, kriser, press og andre former for sjokk. Hagen skriver i sitt kapittel at den norske modellen består eller faller sammen om forholdet mellom del og helhet og/eller individuell og kollektiv handlekraft består eller brytes i møte med eksterne og/eller interne problemer. En måte å forstå fellesskap og moderne samfunn som den norske velferdsstaten på er som funksjonelt differensierte delsystemer eller basisinstitusjoner. Dette er inngående drøftet spesielt i kapitlene til Aakvaag og Hagen. Vi forholder oss enig med ovenstående definisjoner, og argumenterer for at om det norske nasjonale fellesskapet og den norske modellen skal forbli robust og bestå, så er det viktig å holde et øye med om fellesskapet håndterer sine oppgaver, utfordringer og trusler fornuftig.
