Hjertecyster hos atlantisk laks (Salmo salar)

Abstract

Veterinærinstituttet mottok vinteren 2020 prøvemateriale fra et matfisk-anlegg for atlantisk laks i Nord-Norge. Anlegget hadde forøket dødelighet i en merd hvor mesteparten av dødfisken hadde sår. Ved obduksjon i felt var det hovedsakelig få funn i indre organer, med unntak av enkeltindivider med tegn til sirkulasjonssvikt. Det ble tatt ut standard organpakke, i tillegg til prøver av sår fra tre svimere til histologisk undersøkelse. Laksene var sjøsatt tidlig sommer året før, hadde kroppsvekt på cirka 2,8 kg og var vaksinerte. Sjøtemperatur var cirka 3,3 grader.
