Mobbing og psykisk helse. Hvilken innvirkning har mobbing på barns psykiske helse?

Abstract

Hvilke innvirkninger får mobbeutsatte barn for sin psykiske helse? En stor del av unge i dag, står utenfor arbeidslivet med bakgrunn i psykiske helseplager. Psykiske helseplager som er dokumentert ved legeerklæring fra fastlege. Statistikk gjengitt fra NAV av mottakere som mottar arbeidsavklaringspenger innenfor aldersspennet 18-30 år i 2017, viser at i desember 2017 var det så mange som 20% rapporterer lettere psykiske lidelser. 25,9% rapportere om angst og depressive lidelser og 23,8% omhandler andre psykiske lidelser (nav.no, 2018). Mange er blitt mobbet i barne- og ungdomsskolen. Dessverre har det ikke blitt bedre i videregående skole, og mange klarer ikke å fullføre videregående utdanning. Kanskje det finnes en sammenheng mellom mobbing som barn og psykiske helseplager som ung voksen? Er det slik at de som er utsatt for mobbing får en dårlig psykisk helse og hvordan kan vi som fagpersoner få en dypere forståelse og ytterligere kompetanse om begrepet mobbing og de ringvirkninger mobbingen fører med seg? Masteroppgaven er et litteraturstudie og tar sikte på å definere begrepet mobbing og alvorlige ringvirkninger mobbing kan gi, herunder psykisk helse. Feltet mobbing er stort, og det er forsøkt å trekke ut akkurat den relevante litteraturen som kan være relevant for oppgavens tema.
