Lederutvikling gjennom 50 år. En empirisk studie av Solstrandprogrammets formidling av kunnskap om organisasjon og ledelse i perioden 1953 – 1998.

Abstract

Studien er en empirisk studie av lederutviklingsprogrammet Solstrandprogrammet som arrangeres årlig av Administrativt forskningsfond (AFF) ved Norges Handelshøyskole. Min studie av dette programmet har vært en historisk studie for å avdekke hvilken kunnskap om organisasjon og ledelse som Solstrandprogrammet har formidlet i perioden 1953 – 1998. Studien har også forsøkt å avdekke hvilken kunnskap om organisasjon og ledelse som har vært stabil og hvilken kunnskap som har vært av mer kortvarig karakter. Studien avsluttes med en drøfting av hva som kan forklare endringene i Solstrandprogrammets innhold, og her er brukt tre ulike teoretiske forklaringsmodeller. Studiens funn er at mange trekk er mer stabile enn man i utgangspunktet skulle forvente og at Solstrandprogrammet ikke har blitt offer for en stadig utskifting av omgivelsenes oppfatninger om den rette form for organisasjon og ledelse.
