Abstract

Een aantal prestatiekenmerken voor de bepaling van totaal-fosfor waarvan de concentratie routinematig wordt bepaald onder meer ten behoeve van het meetnet grondwater, zijn nader vastgelegd. Het betreft precisie, onderste analysegrens, de invloed van matrix-effecten op precisie en nauwkeurigheid, en het storingsnivo van ijzer(III). De precisie (als reproduceerbaarheid) kan over het hele meetbereik worden weergegeven door de formule "wortel" [2.25 + 51.8/[P])2] %, waarbij [P] de concentratie totaal-fosfor in mumol/l. De onderste analysegrens kan op het huidige nivo van 2 mumol/l P worden gehandhaafd, met een toelaatbaar gehalte aan ijzerhoudende componenten in de matrix van 150 mumol/l Fe. IJzer(III) heeft wel storende effecten op de nauwkeurigheid, maar niet op de precisie van de totaal-fosfor bepaling.
