Transferencias e Interferencias en el Aprendizaje de una Segunda Lengua

Abstract

El presente artículo pretende reflexionar sobre la necesidad de desarrollar metodologías que intenten evitar el gran número de interferencias que los aprendices de una segunda lengua cometen cuando tienen que utilizarla para interactuar lingüísticamente. Un mayor número de interferencias aparece cuando en aquellas situaciones en las que se tiene que usar la segunda lengua de forma creativa. En nuestro trabajo proponemos una solución cognitivista a este problema mediante la utilización de las equivalencias entre la lengua de origen y la lengua destino como herramienta metodológicamente adecuada para fomentar el uso de la segunda lengua de manera creativa y sin verse afectado por las interferencias producidas por la primera lengua.

This article is intended as a reflection upon the need for developing that kind of methodologies which can prevent second language students from making interferences, mainly when they are requested to use the second language in a creative way. Indeed, the more creative the use of the language is required, the greater the number of interferences is. Our paper proposes a cognitivist solution to this problem by means of the use of the equivalences between the first and the second language as a methodologically adequate tool to encourage students to make use of the second language creatively and without interferences coming from the first language.
